What Is Instant Steal?
Instant Steal is a toggle that attempts to shorten the pickup step so an egg is taken as soon as your character reaches it.
In normal play, reaching an egg is only half the job. The grab takes time, and that window is when a guard reaches you, a trap fires, or another player takes the egg first.
The control is designed to close that window while Miranda Hub is running. It should not be treated as a guarantee that every attempt will succeed.
Why a Run Still Fails
Instant Steal changes the pickup. It does not change the game around it.
Common causes of a failed run with the control enabled:
- a trap fires before your character arrives
- a guard reaches you during the approach
- another player takes the egg first
- the target despawns during a map reset
- the return route stalls with the egg in hand
- the game updated and the pickup action changed
The map resets roughly every five minutes across the server and closes for about thirteen seconds between cycles. A run that stops during that window has not failed.
Instant Steal and Detection
This is worth saying plainly. Instant Steal is one of the more visible things a hub does.
An account taking eggs faster than the game allows is unusual behaviour, and unusual behaviour is what other players report.
There is a risk of account action whenever third party scripts are used, and no version can honestly promise that an account will never be detected. Detection is not the only route to moderation either, as the safety page explains.
If an account matters to you, do not run this on it.
Getting More Out of It
- Watch one full run before leaving the hub unattended.
- Pick a target by value rather than by rarity, because a rare egg is not always the most valuable one on the map.
- Prefer targets close to your base, because the return leg is where most runs are lost.
- Stop the hub during a map reset rather than letting it search an empty map.
- Re check the control after any Steal an Egg update.
- Use Stop rather than closing the execution environment when something looks wrong.
Instant Steal Compared With Auto Steal
Most Steal an Egg hubs ship an Auto Steal loop instead. The two solve different problems.
| Area | Instant Steal | Auto Steal loop |
|---|---|---|
| What it changes | The pickup step | The whole run, repeated |
| Attention needed | Some, per run | Very little |
| Target choice | You pick from the list | Filters pick for you |
| Failure mode | One run is lost | The loop keeps failing |
| Visibility | High during the grab | High throughout |
Miranda's approach suits a player who wants to choose the run. A filtered loop on one of the alternatives suits a player who wants to leave it going.
When Instant Steal Stops Working
Test whether the rest of the hub still works before blaming this control.
If Go moves your character to the target and nothing happens on arrival, the pickup action is the broken part. That usually follows a game update.
If the target list is empty, nothing downstream can work and the problem is earlier. The troubleshooting page separates those cases.
Re executing an old copy will not restore a pickup action the game has changed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Instant Steal work on mobile?
It depends on the execution environment rather than on the control itself.
Does Instant Steal need a key?
No. The current Miranda Hub release is keyless.
Is Instant Steal safe to leave running?
Leaving any automation running unattended increases how long unusual behaviour is visible. Watch a run first.
Why does it grab common eggs?
The target list is sorted by what is on the map, not by what is worth taking. Select the target yourself or use the rarity filter.
Conclusion
Miranda Hub Instant Steal shortens the pickup step, which is the part of a Steal an Egg run where most attempts are lost.
It does not remove traps, guards, other players, map resets or the return leg. A failed run with the control enabled usually failed somewhere other than the pickup.
Treat the control as version dependent, check it after every game update, avoid suspicious downloads, never share account credentials, and understand the potential risks before running third party code.
